Job Summary:
We are seeking a SAP MDM Analyst for a short-term contract to support end-to-end data migration activities for SAP S/4HANA transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and validation processes, with hands-on experience in SAP tools and MDM best practices.
Primary Skills Required:
SAP Data Migration (ECC or S/4HANA)
SAP tools: LSMW, BODS (SAP Data Services), BAPIs, IDOCs
Master & Transactional Data: Customer, Vendor, Material, Sales, Purchase, Financial
ETL Processes & Data Cleansing
Data Validation & Reconciliation
Tools: SQL, Excel, and basic scripting for data transformation
Key Responsibilities:
Lead or assist in data migration planning and execution
Collaborate with business and functional teams on data mapping and rules
Extract and cleanse data from legacy sources
Load transformed data into SAP systems using approved tools
Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and completeness
Troubleshoot errors and coordinate with tech teams for resolution
Document all processes, mappings, and test results
Support mock migrations, cutover planning, and go-live events
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related
3+ years in SAP data migration projects
Strong understanding of ETL, data quality, and migration tools
Experience with master data and transactional data in SAP
Preferred:
Experience in large SAP rollouts or global implementations
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
SAP Certification
Advanced Excel/SQL skills
Soft Skills:
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform under pressure
Self-motivated and team-oriented
